When you have a screw machine problem that calls for close tolerance (± .0002), exceptional quality, unequalled technological creativity and proficiency, automated or hand assembly, and you want the finished product priced competitively and delivered quickly...
call on Milford Automatics.

Milford Automatics utilizes conventional Brown and Sharp and Davenport machines and assembly equipment to solve the most complex screw machine and assembly problems.

Here are just a few examples of the unique challenges met and resolved by Milford Automatics, the unconventional company.*

Milford Automatics...
using conventional machines to solve unconventional problems.

Extension
Challenge: To produce part with smaller square in direct relation to larger main outer square, coupled with angular side. Angle side had to maintain a 32 micro finish tolerance. The spindles are stationary while the tools revolve.
Hub
Challenge: Devise special double lead acme thread coupled with small diameter deep hole drilling which had to be burr-free for critical medical application.
Spark Wheel
Challenge: To change the existing state-of-the-art to create a new method of producing spark wheels for the Lighter Industry in order to be competitive in both the domestic and international market.

* Solution:
Milford Automatics is able to resolve virtually every challenge we confront because we have:

Engineering facilities on the premises...a complete tool room which allows for the flexibility to perform special job operations otherwise not possible on standard screw machines...a fully equipped secondary department for large volume manufacturing - and the people who care enough to insist on uncompromising quality control on all jobs.

If you have a conventional or an unconventional screw machine problem, we can solve it efficiently and economically on conventional equipment.
